Concert Pianist
"I call him a little Mozart"
- Renowned concert pianist
Lang Lang

Marc Yu, 8, from Los Angeles, CA, was 2-years-old when his mother noticed he was singing along with Beethoven symphonies from his car seat. Lessons followed and, at the age of six, he made his orchestral debut playing a piano concerto and a cello concerto on the same evening. It didn't take long for Marc to be recognized as one of the few musical prodigies of our time.
Marc has performed in numerous recitals, master classes, benefits, and orchestra concerts including, at Steinway Piano's invitation, on virtuoso Vladimir Horowitz's piano to inaugurate Steinway's Historical Piano Tour. He has been featured in cover stories in The New York Times Magazine and The Los Angeles Times. Marc has also carried the banner in his crusade for classical music in multiple appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Oprah. He has been the subject of numerous articles, interviews, and TV specials, including a recent BBC documentary on TLC, My Life as a Child.
Marc is currently a scholarship student of the Colburn School of performing Arts in Los Angeles. When not performing, Marc is an aspiring standup comedian and junk food aficionado.
